  • Young International Arbitration Group

    Established in 1997, the Young International Arbitration Group is an LCIA sponsored association for practitioners, students and younger members of the arbitration community (40 and below).

    YIAG aims to promote the understanding and use of international arbitration law and practice by providing opportunities for its members to exchange views on topical issues in international commercial arbitration.

    Currently, there are over 10,000 members from more than 140 countries.

  • Young ArbitralWomen Practitioners

    Young ArbitralWomen Practitioners provides a networking platform for women below the age of 40 who are seeking to address challenges arising in the early stages of their practice.

    The programme is intended for younger women to support each other as they share their concerns with others in a similar position. The group also provides mentoring programmes and skill-building seminars.

  • Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Young Members Group

    CIArb’s Young Members Group (YMG) brings together dispute resolution practitioners and students below the age of 40, interested in building their careers in this fast-growing and dynamic field.

    Members of the YMG are offered a variety of exclusive events, such as seminars, an annual conference, training days and workshops delivered by distinguished practitioners, as well as competitions and opportunities to have their work promoted online.

  • International Association of Young Lawyers

    International Association of Young Lawyers (IAYL) is the only global association devoted to lawyers and in-house counsel aged 45 and under. Since 1962 IAYL provides outstanding international opportunities for young lawyers to network, learn and develop.

    IAYL currently has 4,000 members and supporters in 90 different countries, including over 60 collective members and Bar Associations. The IAYL community is very diverse, as members come from law firms of all sizes and cultures.

    It has a commission focusing exclusively on International Arbitration.

  • Young Institute for Transnational Arbitration

    Young ITA promotes the involvement of young professionals (under 40) in the international arbitration community through programs, publications and other activities, including:

    Young Lawyers Roundtables in the US, #YOUNGITATALKS around the world, the annual Young ITA Writing Competition and Award, and the annual Young ITA Mentorship Program.

    Membership in Young ITA is free and open to all young arbitration practitioners, law students, and other professionals under 40 years old with an interest in international arbitration.

  • Young International Council for Commercial Arbitration

    Young ICCA gives individuals opportunities to strengthen their careers by:

    Providing fora for young students and professionals to debate and discuss ideas about international arbitration; and

    Connecting young professionals interested in dispute resolution with each other and providing avenues for them to build relationships with more established practitioners.

    Since its inception in 2010, Young ICCA has gained over 8,000 members. Membership is open to law students and qualified young practitioners under 40 years old.

  • Young Singapore International Arbitration Centre

    YSIAC aims to promote the use of international arbitration and other forms of alternative dispute resolution, both regionally and internationally, and to provide a platform for young professionals to work together to address the unique challenges faced by the legal and business communities across a diverse range of Asian jurisdictions and cultures.

    YSIAC initiatives will include the publication of a YSIAC newsletter, contribution of articles and blogs and organisation of activities ranging from seminars and symposia to social and networking events.

  • ICC Young Arbitrators Forum

    ICC YAF provides a range of opportunities for individuals to gain knowledge, develop skills, build networks and garner a better understanding of ICC’s arbitral procedure and other dispute resolution services.

    Throughout the world, ICC YAF hosts hundreds of educational and social events per year, providing young professionals the opportunity to discover best practices, discuss topical issues and network with experienced practitioners.

    The ICC YAF network has over 21,000 members, and is open to young practitioners aged 40 and under.

  • Young ICSID

    ICSID launched Young ICSID in November 2012. The purpose of Young ICSID is to encourage professional development for young lawyers, and to provide a forum for them to discuss ideas and meet other professionals.

    Members under age 45 are welcome to enroll. Membership benefits include information on upcoming events, training and conferences.

  • HK45

    HK45 is the group for all young arbitration practitioners in Asia and beyond. Its aims are to promote the use of arbitration and Hong Kong as a seat, to provide a platform for members to learn from each other and leading professionals, and to help Hong Kong remain an inclusive and welcoming place for arbitration lawyers young and old who practice in the region. HK45 organises regular seminars, careers events and socials, and with HKIAC publishes a newsletter with a readership of over 5000 people.

  • DIS40

    DIS40 was established an initiative for young arbitration practitioners in Germany in 2002. It is a forum for young professionals to exchange experiences of practice in the field of arbitration and alternative dispute resolution.

    The DIS40 regularly organises regional, national and international events. Participation in these events is mostly free of charge. Membership is open to anyone interested in arbitration under the age of 40.

  • ICDR Young & International

    ICDR Young & International (Y&I) is the networking group for practitioners under 40 sponsored by the American Arbitration Association. ICDR Y&I provides networking opportunities in the areas of commercial and public interest arbitration, as well as alternative dispute resolution.

    ICDR Y&I Associates are offered the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with their peers all over the world, and to benefit from the experience of more senior practitioners in seminars and conferences.

  • AIAC Young Practitioners Group

    The AIAC established its Young Practitioners Group in 2017, bringing together dispute resolution practitioners below the age of 40 and students interested in building their careers in this fast-growing and dynamic field. The YPG includes seven committees: Commercial Arbitration, Investor-State Arbitration, Maritime Arbitration, Sports Arbitration, Belt and Road, Adjudication, and Mediation. Members of the YPG are offered a variety of exclusive events in multiple languages, such as seminars, training days and workshops, visits to ports, interviews with distinguished practitioners, etc.

  • NAI Young Arbitration Practitioners

    The Netherlands Arbitration Institute created the working group NAI Young Arbitration Practitioners in order to offer anyone under forty years old who is interested in arbitration a platform for discussing various current and practical topics. Members can meet others who share their interest or have gained experience in the arbitration practice.

    Meetings are not only interesting for attorneys; company lawyers, scientific staff members, members and staff of the judiciary and other interested persons can also broaden their knowledge of arbitration here.
